Hi, I'm Xia Liang!

My path into UX began in museums, not tech.

With a background spanning art history, museum studies, and computer science, I bring both analytical thinking and cultural sensitivity into every design decision.

Before transitioning into UX, I spent over a decade working in museums and cultural institutions, focusing on exhibition planning, international collaboration, and storytelling. This experience shaped how I observe people, interpret context, and design with intention.

To strengthen my technical foundation, I pursued a master’s degree in Computer Science. This journey allows me to bridge design and technology — collaborating effectively with engineers while advocating for users.

Outside of work, I’m deeply interested in history, travel, and reflective writing. Exploring different cultures and environments continues to inform how I think about human behavior, meaning, and experience as a UX designer.
